Licensed Clinical Psychologist
I'm Dr. France Frederick. For more than twenty years I've practiced as a clinical psychologist in Fairhope, working with adults, couples, families, and youth across the Eastern Shore. In person here, by telehealth anywhere in Alabama.
Therapy Services
Most clients come in because something has been quietly true for a long time. Often years. They have decided not to keep carrying it alone.
For capable people who look fine on the outside and are struggling underneath. Anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the patterns that keep repeating.
Learn more →For couples in real trouble, and for couples who can feel something slipping and do not want to wait until it is gone. Both partners attend.
Learn more →When one person in a family is struggling, the whole family feels it, even when no one is naming it. Sessions are active, structured, and aimed at something specific you want to change.
Learn more →For marriages in crisis, and for marriages where the distance has been growing slowly enough to ignore. Easier to repair now than later.
Learn more →You look fine. You function fine. So why does everything feel so hard? The kind of struggle that does not announce itself.
Learn more →Real sessions on video, from anywhere in Alabama. Same clinical work, no two-hour round trip. HIPAA-compliant and secure.

No commitment. We talk for about fifteen minutes about what is bringing you in. I tell you honestly whether I think I can help. If I am not the right fit, I point you toward someone who is. If we are a fit, we book a first session. That is it.
I keep a small caseload on purpose. Each client gets focused attention.
I'm Dr. France Frederick. For more than two decades I have practiced as a clinical psychologist on the Eastern Shore, working with people across every stage of life: children, teenagers, adults figuring out a hard chapter, couples, seniors.
Therapy works when the room is honest. My job is to make that possible, confidential and without judgment, and then to help you make sense of what you find. The approach is warm, respectful, and direct. The treatment is shaped to what is in front of us, not to a manual.
I keep a small caseload. Each client gets focused attention.
