Therapy Services
Most clients come in because something has been quietly true for a long time, and they have decided not to keep carrying it alone.

New clients begin with a brief phone consultation to discuss what brings you in and whether we're the right fit. If we are, we'll schedule a first session. If we aren't, I'll point you toward someone better suited. I keep a small caseload so each client gets focused attention.
I'm Dr. France Frederick, a licensed clinical psychologist based in Fairhope, Alabama. I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego, and have spent more than two decades in private practice on the Eastern Shore.
Therapy works when the room feels safe enough to be honest. My job is to make that possible (confidential, supportive, without judgment) and then to help you make sense of what you find. The approach is warm, respectful, and direct. The treatment is shaped to what is actually in front of us, not to a manual.
I welcome clients across the lifespan, from children and adolescents to adults and seniors. I keep a small caseload so each client gets focused attention.
